My motherland: the place where I live

There are two things you cannot change or take from a person, and they are the motherland and your parents.  If you are born here, that is for your whole life. If they gave you the birth, that is for the whole life too.
I was born in Ukraine in Ternopil region in Zalishchyky.  But all my childhood I lived in a foreign country and when I came back to Ukraine, almost every day I was thinking about my friends, people I knew, places I have been. I miss it a lot. Sometimes it makes me think where my motherland is.
My small town is unique, because the river flows around it and this place looks almost like an island. This view is really stunning. There are only three places in the world that are alike. They are in France, in America and in my Ukraine. This place is important to me because I was born here. I like its beautiful nature, the warm climate here is perfect for growing different kinds of rare fruits and vegetables.
Lots of people who live in Ukraine think that the life in their country is bad, that their motherland is the worst place in the world; they are fake patriots because even do not ask themselves what they have done for their country to make it better. That is why only a small amount of people are real Heroes that firstly think and care about the place they live in.

The advantage of living here is that I learn and hear my mother language; I study at a school that is in the top 5 in Ukraine. I can do things I love and am fond of. I can be a part of my native history. And now I understand that the future of my country and my motherland depends on my desire to do something not to wait. I want to be free here and I can be free.

My motherland: the place where I live/the place I love the most

My hometown is Zalishchyky. It’s a beautiful place to live in. There are lots of advantages of living in this wonderful town. I’ve never seen anything similar to this place and I would never agree to move away for no big reason.

Zalishchyky is located on the very south of Ternopil region. This town has a shape of peninsula, which is surrounded by the river Dnister. The climat is very mild, as Zalishchyky is located in a kind of a lowland.
No doubt, the main attraction of the area is its sceneries: hundreds of tourists come to see the rapid river and beautiful rocks covered with magnificent greenery. One of my favourite activities in summer is hanging out on the bank of the Dnister with my friends. I literally love swimming and having fun there.
Although Zalishchyky’s area is 7 square kilometers, there are so many places to spend time really nicely. The streets are full of greenery; the atmosphere in this town feels so friendly and lovely. There are probably more private houses than multistoreyed buildings. I really like it, because this town matches within itself both city life and countryside.
Of course, my hometown is an extremely important place for me, as I was born and raised here. I’ve spent my childhood and youth in Zalishchyky and the brightest memories are connected with places within this town. Those memories help me remember that I’m not alone, that I always have a company to go out with. I don’t know, what my destiny would be like, if I were born in another place in this world. I’m happy about my life-my education, friends and family-and this all is due to my hometown. That’s why I don’t just live here, I love this place more than any other in the whole Universe.
Moreover, Zalishchyky definitely has a lot of advantages of living there for anyone. Although it may seem a bit like a village at the first sight, it actually has not just simple conditions for existing, but also everything needed for a full and interesting life. What I like about my hometown the most is its combination of both countryside and developed modern buildings. I mean, if you want to have a rest from your busy life, you can easily find a beautiful place for relaxation anywhere here. What’s more, despite there are a lot of shops, just a few schools and a decent number of entertaining establishments, there isn’t much traffic at all and the air quality is quite good. It’s really nice to live in such a town, as there is everything needed for the full life, but it doesn’t feel like you’re in a big, polluted city. I guess it’s pretty easy to find a job here in case if you’re a kind and hard-working person. Zalishchyky is rather famous for its tomatoes growing. No one knows why, but people in my hometown are very sociable and cheerful. It’s not challenging to communicate with them at all.
I’m so happy to live in Zalishchyky, I love this place with all my heart. It’s not just a great place to live
for anyone or to enjoy magnificent sceneries, it also has a huge importance to me. I try to take part in all of the charity projects, directed to improve anything connected with this town. I don’t want it to collapse or just get a worse place, my friends and I really strive to keep Zalishchyky being such a beautiful place, as we love it so much and it’s extremely valuable for all of its citizens.
